You piece misses the point.

US position is not that no civilians have been killed, but that no ‘non-combatants’ have been killed which (given the deaths detailed) illustrates that the US considers all in this theatre as combatants – men, women and children alike.

It was first disclosed by Conflict Monitoring Center an Islamabad based research center that Pakistani and American security officials are deliberately overlooking civilian casualties. We’ve received no undue pressure from the CIA or any other US agency on our story. We did present a summary of our findings just prior to going to press – and have been told that the US sticks by its ‘no civilian casualty’ claims. A surprise, to say the least, given the records of civilian deaths we presented.

If the ICC had any gumption, they would be issuing arrests warrants for Obama and his cabal as well as Bush as his. But we can dream. BTW, one of the WikiLeaks revelation was that, while the US claimed not to have a death toll of its crusades, it is indeed keeping a tally.

We can be 100% certain that Obama is not being “misled”, unless it is by his own conscience (assuming he has one). There has not been a US president since G.H.W Bush more studied in US imperialist millitary and intelligence operations. Its his favorite part of the job. Those who are concerned with human rights need to move past the fantasy that Obama is anything more than a just another corporate manager for the American capitalist empire.

I think it goes without saying that everything that anyone even remotely connected to the US government must on the face of it be seen as a lie or a deception. Nothing, not even a single word, can be or should be accepted as truth. I think that the only people who are willing to accept that this or any past Government of the US has any credibility whatever are Americans. Even Obama’s supporters are now coming to see him for what he really is. He has no more credibility than Bush did.
