Angus Stickler, you will never corroborate the pictures for the allegations were fabricated the same manner you did with your notorious so called “Investigative …..”. What a flop and a shame!!!!!!!!Apologise for your lies & deceit. Any body who knows the low credibility of HRW will undoubtedly disregard your trash allegations. During the launching of then bust, similar 2008 HRW so called “report” a subsequent investigation which looked into their allegations found that people HRW alleged in their trash “report” killed were found alive and kicking and villages they alleged destroyed were found to be intact. People who have read their report (HRW’s) then and seen those people alive and villages never touched and standing will never believe any of their word again. Maligning developing countries has become it’s hallmark. Grow up HRW!!!!! Learn how to tell the truth.

If Ethiopian government has nothing to hide, the answer lies to itself, Zenawi if he is not covering an ongoing genocide then he should open the doors to the international community and to this bureau of investigative journalism.
taking a camera by TPLF memebers and say we have investigated will not buy him a credit.
Why is Ogaden not open to the world.
in 2007 Daily telegraph was arrested in Godey, he had a visa and was in Godey city. what was his crime.
Why they jailed the NY Times Journalists.
Even the UN are not allowed to travel in the Ogaden with out Permit and scourt.
i believe this report will pressure ethiopian government and they bring to justice all the criminals. if not now one day it will come.

Dear concerned parties-
What has been going on the Ogaden and other parts of Ethiopia is very unfortunate and concerned. As an observor of the political affairs of Ethiopia, quite frankly, I am more concerned that things are not getting any better. Despotism and the state abuses are getting more brazen and done with great imputunity – often with the full knowledge of donor countries. This is the shame of it all.The blind support of Western financial backers.
I very much hope that, with the rest of the media silent or distracted by other issues, indeed the trivia of the day that passes for the real thing, I can very much hope that this will have an impact as shedding light on these areas under a full media and travel embargo. This is again, regrettable state of affairs.
Thanks,
Kamal B.
