Naming the dead: Only 10 of scores killed by US drones in Pakistan last year have been identified
The names for all 10 came from either terrorist propaganda or the US government.
It is now 10 years since the first CIA drone strike hit Pakistan. The Bureau’s drones research team, which has been tracking reports of drone strikes since 2011, has compiled an interactive timeline to mark the occasion. This shows the key milestones in a campaign that now spans over 380 strikes, killing an estimated 2,311 or more people.
