The Bureau’s investigation into the migration crisis is focused on exploring government policies across member states.

In the first project Bureau reporter Maeve McClenaghan spent a year tracking young men who came to the UK from Afghanistan as unaccompanied children. These teenagers were brought up in this country, but on turning 18 they had to fight their asylum cases again. Many have been deported back to a country they no longer understand.

The Bureau is now looking at this issue across all European states.
