Bureau recommends: Oilsands emissions data left out of UN report
The Bureau recommends an investigation by the Vancouver Sun, that highlights the fact that Oilsands data was omitted from a report on climate change submitted to the United Nations.
The article argues that the Canadian Federal government deliberately left out numbers that indicate pollution from oil sands production outstrips auto-emissions.
The figures show a 20 per cent increase in pollution from the industry in 2009.
