Bureau Recommends: Growing threat of corruption in the UK

Transparency International UK has released a new report into corruption levels in the UK, revealing that more than half of the public believe the problem is getting worse.

Examining 23 sectors, the organisation found that key institutions are refusing to confront the problems of organised crime and corruption.

The study singled out four areas of concern including the prison system, political parties, parliament and sport.

The group concludes that here is complacency and a lack of knowledge of the extent of the problem in key sectors.
