Clare Forknell

Clare has more than 15 years experience in securing income for a range of human rights, health and international development organisations. As Development Director, she oversees TBIJ’s fundraising activities, including managing relationships with donors and identifying new sources of income. Prior to this role, she had held positions at several organisations including Freedom From Torture, Reprieve and Global Witness, each focused on securing high-value gifts from individuals, trusts and foundations and corporate supporters. She is also a trustee of PlayingOn, a theatre company creating a world where marginalised communities are better understood.
