He is a leading expert on the CIA’s rendition, detention and interrogation programme and a specialist in military and intelligence corporate contracting. He has a PhD in the history of philosophy from the University of London and is co-author of the award-winning Negative Publicity: Artefacts of Extraordinary Rendition.
