In Pictures: Civilian victims of violence
These images purport to show evidence of violence inflicted on civilians in the Ogaden region by Ethiopian forces, as part of a campaign against the ethnic Ogaden people.
These images were handed to the Bureau by the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), an oppositon group which has been labeled a ‘terrorist group’ by the Ethiopian government. Although the injuries are consistent with reports and witness accounts we have gathered, we have not been able to independently verify these photographs.
